Cancerlink Foundation launched its 30th Anniversary Celebrations with a seminar on “Consolidating Voluntary Strengths” to honour steadfast volunteers who have been a major force in the successful implementation of its Psychosocial Health Care Support Programmes for children, Youth and adult CancerChamps (a terminology fondly used by Cancerlink.)
Cancerlink Foundation enhances a philosophy of commitment to alleviate the trauma caused by the affliction of cancer.
Cancerlink Foundation provides Emotional, Practical and Information support through focused Support Care Programmes and Services which is accessed nationwide. It is available to those diagnosed with cancer, their families and friends. Volunteer input is a major strength in its implementation.
The Foundation was registered under the Registrar of Companies Act in July, 1986. It is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation. It is Gazetted as a Tax-exempt Charity.
